Juneau Icefield Research Program

In a few days I will be joining staff and students of the Juneau Icefield Research Program as they cross the Juneau Icefield learning about glaciers and continuing one of the longest and most valuable glacier measurement programs in existence.

To read more about the fascinating history of this program, have a look at the website: http://juneauicefield.com

About lindsey

Environmental scientist. I am glaciologist specialising in glacier-climate interactions to better understand the climate system. The point of this is to understand how glaciated envionments might change in the future - how the glaciers will respond and what the impact on associated water resources and hazard potential will be.
